1. What are the materials of Nylon?
- Recycle,
- FDA standard (PA6),
- LFGB standard (PA66).
2. What is the difference of each material:
Recycle material:
Also called black material, but not all black material means recycle;
Can’t pass any standard, such as FDA or LFGB, CA65, BPA FREE;
Can be only made black color, that’s why it’s also called black material;
Price is much cheaper than FDA or LFGB;
But workers don’t very like recycle as it has a strong smell when in production;
Heat resistance is at around 150-180°C;
Aims to some low-end markets.
FDA standard:
Is mainly used in the market of America, Canada, Australia, etc;
Can pass FDA standard, BPA free;
Can be made any color;
Price is higher than recycle material;
Heat resistance is at around 200-210°C, much better than recycle.
LFGB standard:
Is mainly used in the market of European countries, such as Germany, France, Poland, etc;
Can pass LFGB standard, BPA free;
Can be made any color;
Price is much higher than recycle and higher than FDA standard;
Heat resistance is at around 210-220°C, much better than recycle and a little better than FDA.

3. What is fiberglass?
As turner is used for frying fish, pancake etc, the oil temperature of the pot can reach to 300°C, the turner will be melted if it touches the oil directly.
This is a common sense when using a nylon utensil.
Nylon utensils can be added 10%~20% fiberglass to make it harder, usually clients will like to add in turner, as turner is used for stir-fry.
It will be better if you add the fiberglass, but it will have the same melted problems if the temperature is too high.

4. Why nylon utensils are so popular?
It’s affordable, sturdy, and it’s very good for the non-stick pans, it won’t scratch the non-stick pan’s surface.
5. What are the disadvantage of nylon utensils?

As we have mentioned above, the nylon product can be melted if it reaches the melting point at around 210°C, sometimes it’s melted even in 200°C.
In our actual use, it’s difficult to control the temperature of the pans, but it will only happen to the turner most of time as it contacts hot surface, be careful not to contact the surface directly or too long.
It’s safe to use as the temperature is lower than 200°C.
6. What do we have in a set?
Ladle, turner, spoon, skimmer, pasta server, potato masher, whisk etc.
You can also have a holder/stand for the utensils.

Do we have a better utensil to replace nylon utensils? Yes for sure.
Let’s bring it to you in next round. Thanks!
